Some characteristics of developed countries are a good economic activity, generally organized government, and a country full of wealth. In a list of countries, Japan in Asia, Canada and the United States in northern America, Australia and New Zealand in Oceania, and Europe, are considered “developed” regions or areas. Israel is also considered as a developed country. A developed country is one that allows all its citizens to enjoy a free and healthy life in a safe environment. The high levels of living are manifested qualitatively and quantitatively in form of high incomes, adequate housing, good health, high level of education, low or no infant mortality, high life and work expectancy.
